On behalf of the Town of Stillwater and the Stillwater Town Board, I would like to welcome you to our website. Stillwater was founded in 1788 and is a scenic community with a current population of over 9,500 residents. Stillwater offers the “best of everything”. We are a growing community with an excellent education institution, friendly neighborhoods, numerous historical sites, trails, parks and of course, Brown’s Beach.

I hope you find our website informative, user friendly and convenient. It is constantly being updated and improved and is intended to be your source to obtain useful information about Town Programs, Town Meetings agendas and minutes, Committee Meetings, Town Forms and more.

The Stillwater Blockhouse’s Walkway to History has returned!

Bricks can be purchased for $100 each and will be placed in part of the original walkway and the new Baker Memorial Seating Area. (please note that if you wish to have your brick placed in the Baker Seating Area make a note of this in the comment section of the brick form. Space is limited)

Saratoga PLAN is hosting a Conservation Roundtable: How to Protect Your Land where we will have a brief presentation of the land conservation process and tools that Saratoga PLAN can help to implement to achieve landowners’ conservation goals. We will discuss the upcoming pre-application process for landowners interested in working with Saratoga PLAN.

This workshop will be largely focused on questions from the audience during a roundtable discussion - so please bring questions that you’d like to discuss! This workshop is being offered free of cost and is being paid for by grants from the State of New York and the American Farmland Trust.
